Well I have
to confess that I didn’t know too much about saving the planet from the global
warming. I just approve only the 60% of the quiz haha, but it teaches to me
very interesting things like:
- Using the dishwasher is better than wash by hand in a 50%
- Only about the 10% of global energy comes from renewables
- Each degree you drop the thermostat during the winter saves about 5% on your heating bill
- There are alternative materials for making paper which are very weird like panda excrement, hemp and sheepskin! (but I don’t really think that the last one is really “eco-friendly”😕)
This quiz is
very useful and important to start to be more aware about global warming and try
a green lifestyle or zero waste lifestyle. And, following the topic, I want to
share with you another tips to turn our daily routine more eco friendly 😊 :
- Use our own reusable bottle (and is better if it is made of glass or of another material that doesn’t contain plastic)
- Try solid cosmetics! You will get surprised about the loooong list that you can buy or do it buy yourself!
- Buy bulk products
- Buy used clothes and furniture
- Try to refill everything! You will buy less plastic and is cheaper!
- Use a bamboo toothbrush and stainless steel straw
- Start to buy microfiber clothes is a good option. You won’t need a washing machine or iron!
- Do compost with your food! You also can create natural flavour with them
- This isn´t a vegan option but you can do your own paper film with beeswax!
And here is a link if you are a little lazy or if you don't have enough time to do all this things by yourself: https://www.pinterest.cl/pin/AWcdw7B9mQERitvN2L3y2HMsN8uW_M3wm3QiyxQoMf01FI2qGc1GE40/
There are a
lot of alternatives. I want to start this new year trying zero waste habits and
things. It isn’t expensive and you will do a favour to our planet ❤️
